The story of Hockey Bunnies Tournament began in the mind of Daniel Malinovský. A former youth representative of the Czech Republic, long-time coach and specialist in hockey skills development, who has devoted more than eighteen years to working with young hockey players and passing on experience gained in the Czech Republic and abroad.

When in 2017 he organised the first edition of EASTER Hockey Bunnies Tournament in Pinzolo, Italy, it was about much more than just another hockey tournament. A place was created where teams from across Europe began to meet, test their strengths, forge new friendships and experience the exceptional atmosphere that accompanies Hockey Bunnies to this day.

From 2021, the picturesque mountain town of Fondo in the heart of the Dolomites became the home of the tournaments, where hundreds of young hockey players from across Europe gather every year.

Hockey Bunnies has never been just about results and standings. From the very beginning it was about creating an environment where young hockey players can compete against quality international competition, experience an exceptional atmosphere and take home memories that will last long after the final whistle.

After six successful years in Fondo, Italy, Hockey Bunnies is also coming to the Czech Republic. České Budějovice becomes the new home of SPRING Hockey Bunnies Tournament, where we bring the same energy, enthusiasm and love of hockey that Hockey Bunnies grew up on.

We believe that children deserve more than just playing another game.

Hockey Bunnies was created for them. For young hockey players who train every day, push themselves, learn to win and lose, and dream their hockey dreams.

The tournament is a place where they can show what they are made of. Where they can test their strengths against new opponents, gain new experience and take another step on their own journey.
