Who We Are
The story of Hockey Bunnies Tournament began in the mind of Daniel Malinovský. A former youth representative of the Czech Republic, long-time coach and specialist in hockey skills development, who has devoted more than eighteen years to working with young hockey players and passing on experience gained in the Czech Republic and abroad.
When in 2017 he organised the first edition of EASTER Hockey Bunnies Tournament in Pinzolo, Italy, it was about much more than just another hockey tournament. A place was created where teams from across Europe began to meet, test their strengths, forge new friendships and experience the exceptional atmosphere that accompanies Hockey Bunnies to this day.
From 2021, the picturesque mountain town of Fondo in the heart of the Dolomites became the home of the tournaments, where hundreds of young hockey players from across Europe gather every year.
Hockey Bunnies has never been just about results and standings. From the very beginning it was about creating an environment where young hockey players can compete against quality international competition, experience an exceptional atmosphere and take home memories that will last long after the final whistle.
After six successful years in Fondo, Italy, Hockey Bunnies is also coming to the Czech Republic. České Budějovice becomes the new home of SPRING Hockey Bunnies Tournament, where we bring the same energy, enthusiasm and love of hockey that Hockey Bunnies grew up on.
We believe that children deserve more than just playing another game.
Hockey Bunnies was created for them. For young hockey players who train every day, push themselves, learn to win and lose, and dream their hockey dreams.
The tournament is a place where they can show what they are made of. Where they can test their strengths against new opponents, gain new experience and take another step on their own journey.

Daniel Malinovský
Hockey Bunnies TournamentsThe driving force behind Hockey Bunnies Tournament, which since 2017 has been bringing together young hockey players from across Europe. What started as an idea became a respected international tournament — a place for sporting competition, new friendships, and unforgettable hockey memories.
At Hockey Bunnies events, Daniel oversees the sporting side of the entire event, tournament organization, and the flow of each age category. His goal is to create an environment where children experience top-level hockey, fair competition, and an atmosphere they will remember for years.
Jana
Czech Project & CoordinationSPRING Hockey Bunnies Tournament
Jana is the driving force behind the Czech chapter of Hockey Bunnies, coordinating everything that happens off the ice — from venue and accommodation selection to the supporting programme, team communication, and the day-to-day running of the tournament.
For SPRING Hockey Bunnies Tournament she built the complete Czech project infrastructure, including the official tournament website, tournament presentation, and the overall event concept.
Her goal is to create a tournament that is just as extraordinary off the ice as it is on it.
Radek

Radek is responsible for the partnership side of the Czech Hockey Bunnies project. He focuses on communication with partners and sponsors, collaboration with institutions, and securing support for the tournament.
He bridges the world of sport, partners, and public institutions so that the tournament has a solid foundation and can continue to grow.
He believes that a strong tournament is built not only on hockey, but also on the people and partnerships that help it thrive.

A long-standing member of the Hockey Bunnies family, Nikola contributes to the organisation of the Italian tournaments and supports the project behind the scenes.
She manages Hockey Bunnies social media channels and captures the atmosphere of the tournaments for players, parents and fans alike. During the tournament you can also find her at the Fun Shop, where players can pick up official Hockey Bunnies merchandise and tournament souvenirs.
She believes it is the atmosphere, emotions, and shared experiences that make Hockey Bunnies a truly unique project.
Honza

Every young hockey player has imagined what it would feel like to hear their name echoing around a packed arena. At Hockey Bunnies, we try to make that feeling real.
Jan guides the entire tournament microphone in hand — commentating on games, introducing players and teams, and turning key moments on the ice into memories that last a lifetime.
Beyond his role as tournament speaker, he is also an active hockey player and captain of the Písek hockey team.
DJ Muriel
Official DJSPRING Hockey Bunnies Tournament
Hockey Bunnies is more than a hockey tournament — it is a show. And DJ Muriel is the one making sure every goal, team entrance, and final ceremony carries the energy young players know from professional hockey arenas.
From the opening face-off to the Garden Party at Villa Resort Stromovka, he handles the stadium sound, team walk-outs, goal celebrations, and the entire supporting programme.
Come evening, he takes centre stage at the Garden Party, delivering the music and entertainment for one of the tournament's highlights.
